Need a quick answer?—If there are quick procedural issues on events, coaches can call (818) 570 0333, the official Los Angeles County Science Olympiad number for tournament day. Quick procedural issues are things like the event room is locked, the Event Supervisor is missing for an event, the Event Supervisor is checking for student ID to let them in, the Event Supervisor is not allowing certain items that should be allowed, etc. In general, call this number to get something fixed quickly. This phone number is not to be used for appeals. This does not replace the appeal process that's currently in place. Please use this number judiciously.

Need to file an appeal?—To file an arbitration, the head coach (only) should fill out the appeal form included in the coaches packet. The head coach should then bring the form to the Event Supervisor to have the event supervisor complete the form. After the Event Supervisor is done, turn in the appeal form at Olympiad Headquarters in the Dunke Room in Swan Hall.

New Twitter Feed—This year, we have decided to implement a live twitter feed (@LACoSciOly) so that any vital updates will get to you as quick as possible. Updates will consist of any unexpected issues such as room changes, event clarifications, as well as important reminders such as the award ceremony or registration.

If you do not have a twitter account, you can go to twitter.com and sign up for a free account.
